Philmont Family Dentistry Brings Digital Technology to Patients
Philmont, NY – (June 4, 2007) Dr. Tareq Khalifeh, DDS, the proprietor of Philmont Family Dentistry, announced this week that his practice now offers digital radiology and intra-aural cameras.

“With these technology upgrades, we can offer even greater quality dentistry to residents of Columbia and surrounding counties,” said Dr. Khalifeh.

Digital radiology produce high quality images with fewer x-rays and permit easy transfer of images from one dental practice to another.

Intra-aural cameras can be used to give patients a view inside their own mouths when the dentist is explaining a finding. The dentist simply points the tiny digital camera at the location in the patient’s mouth, and the patient sees the image on a monitor mounted on the wall over the dental chair. This greatly aids in helping patients understand their own unique health issues and in discussions of treatment options.

Philmont Family Dentistry PLLC is located on Rte. 217, 1 mile West of the Taconic State Parkway, on the eastern edge of the village of Philmont, NY, and serves patients from Columbia, Berkshire, Dutchess, Greene, Albany, and Rensselear counties.
